5G Networks has announced a new service agreement between 5GN Wholesale and modular data centre operator DXN, to provide business continuity capabilities through 5GN’s Dark Fibre & IP Transit solutions.
The deal will position DXN to take advantage of 5GN’s combination of fibre and data centre connectivity solutions to offer customers business continuity. 5GN’s Dark Fibre solution gives partners the flexibility to decide how, when and where to connect without having to build their own network.
A key solution element is 5GN’s IP Transit which provides direct peering with Tier-1 carriers, major backbone and content providers using low latency secure Internet access through national and international 5GN PoPs. This service has the capacity for up to 600Gb of data.

Modular data centres are portable, compact and can be easily deployed anywhere to support customers’ needs. The portable systems consist of purpose-engineered modules and components to offer scalable data centre capacity with multiple power and cooling options.
According to Valuates Reports projections, the modular data centre market is expected to grow at approximately 19% CAGR over the next seven years, driven largely by an upsurge in the adoption of cloud services by small and medium business.
