DingGo launches MotorClaimPro AI tool for third-party motor claims

Australian crash management technology company DingGo has launched MotorClaimPro, an AI-based motor claims platform aimed at reducing claims leakage and automating administration for third-party motor claims.

The company said the product is designed to support two areas it describes as complex for motor insurers and claims administrators: outbound recoveries, where costs are pursued from an at-fault third party, and inbound demands, where a third party seeks payment from the insurer’s customer.

Rather than replacing existing claims management systems, DingGo said MotorClaimPro integrates with platforms including Guidewire, Wilbur and Five Sigma. It is intended to operate as a companion tool, with claims handed into MotorClaimPro for third-party liability and settlement management before the outcome, including payments and an audit trail, is returned to the primary claims system.

According to DingGo, MotorClaimPro uses AI-driven triage, automated document classification and liability summaries aligned with local road rules. The platform also generates photo-based repair cost estimates for comparison with quotes, and provides configurable recovery and demand “playbooks”, task management and separate workbenches for inbound and outbound workflows.

The company said automated email, SMS and letter communications can run across a claim’s lifecycle, and that scheduled communications can be cancelled if a customer enters financial hardship.

“Claims leakage isn’t necessarily one enormous mistake. It’s often hundreds or thousands of small decisions, missed follow-ups, data entry inconsistencies, unchallenged costs or recoveries that weren’t pursued as effectively as they could have been. If you can structure those processes, automate the routine work and make every financial decision visible, you have an opportunity to materially change the economics of a motor claims portfolio,” said DingGo co-founder Josh Sandford.

DingGo said the platform treats each claim as a financial workflow, capturing cost types, service and legal fees, rental-related fees, payment plans, multi-market tax treatments, total-loss write-offs and multi-party incidents. The company said AI can extract totals from financial documents to populate cost fields, and that the platform supports multiple currencies and accounting export formats, including integrations into accounting software such as Xero and MYOB.

MotorClaimPro is available now, DingGo said, with onboarding support and configurable workflows to adapt the platform to individual claims portfolios.
