Australian fleet leasing and management provider StreetFleet has announced a rebrand alongside the launch of an AI-enabled fleet management portal, positioning the changes as part of a broader modernisation of the business.
The company said the portal is designed to help customers translate fleet data into operational insights, with features including automation, analytics, real-time visibility of utilisation and costs, customised reporting, and a natural language interface that allows users to query their data.
StreetFleet CEO James Ehmann said the company was responding to customer demand for clearer visibility of fleet performance and costs, describing vehicles as a major operational expense for many organisations.
In the release, StreetFleet framed the portal as a response to a common challenge: organisations generating large volumes of fleet-related data—including fuel use, service records, driver behaviour and utilisation—but struggling to turn that information into action, particularly where there is no dedicated fleet manager.
“The new Portal addresses this by consolidating fleet data into a single dashboard where customers can visualise trends, monitor performance and identify inefficiencies in real-time, uncovering opportunities to reduce costs, improve productivity and manage operational risk,” Ehmann said.
StreetFleet said the portal’s natural language tool can be used to ask questions such as which vehicles are under-utilised, whether any are overdue for service, which have the highest operating costs, and which drivers have the highest incident rates. Ehmann said the AI component is intended to support analysis rather than replace human decision-making.
The company also introduced a Digital Driver’s Guide, which it said can be accessed by scanning a QR code on a windscreen sticker to view vehicle and lease details, kilometres travelled, and which services are covered under the lease. According to StreetFleet, drivers can also contact service providers and reach a fleet consultant through the tool.
StreetFleet said the portal is part of a wider investment in digital capability aimed at helping businesses manage emissions penalties, fleet electrification, compliance changes and rising operating costs.
